The Town of Stony Plain has an 18-month temporary full-time position available for a Senior Financial Analyst supporting our Corporate Services team.  Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, this position is responsible for regular financial analysis and reporting while working closely with the Manager of Financial Services in all financial matters. This position will backfill support to the Town’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system migration project and provide leadership and guidance to this position’s direct report.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in a related vocation (preferably a financial field) plus a minimum of 2 to 3 years of related experience in accounting processes in a municipal setting or equivalent. An accounting designation would be considered an asset. Experience with financial reporting and analysis along with previous ERP systems is required. The successful incumbent will demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, and be able to adapt to varying workloads and timelines.

Based on a 35-hour work week, the salary range for this position is $85,778 - $109,133 per annum. This is an 18-month temporary position and includes the option to participate in the Town’s Group Health Benefits Plan. This position will have the option to work a hybrid work schedule.
