The Town of Stony Plain has a temporary full-time position available for a Business Analyst supporting our Corporate Services team.  Reporting to the Manager of IT Projects, this position will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate these requirements into actionable solutions within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of the ERP system.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in a related vocation (preferably a business or IT field) plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience as a Business Analyst supporting an ERP system. A Certified Business Analyst Professional designation (CBAP) is preferred. Experience with SAAS and PAAS implementation is required. The successful incumbent will demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, strong knowledge of business analysis, tools, and techniques, and be able to interact with business partners at all levels of the organization to collect and document business requirements.

Based on a 35-hour work week, the salary range for this position is $79,793 - $101,519 per annum. This is an 18-month temporary full-time position and includes the option to participate in the Town’s Group Health Benefits Plan. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for in-person availability a minimum of 3 times per week.
